after removing widgets sidebar from my search pages, can I then make them full width?

Jetpack won’t help you there, as it only removes widgets inside a sidebar area; it doesn’t actually remove the whole sidebar area.

You could, however, customize your theme and remove the call to the sidebar area (get_sidebar()) from your search template inside your theme. If your theme doesn’t include a search.php template file, used to control the display of your search results, you can create one, by copying another template file like index.php, and removing the call to get_sidebar().

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks for your reply

I deleted get_sidebar() but it seems like the sidebar still is there..

Since you’re using a Premium Theme, I’d recommend that you get in touch with the theme author, and ask them how to edit the search template file in their framework. They should be able to help!
