Widget to pull tweets always shows error

  • Posting going well after going through Twitter stuff.

    I can’t set up the widget to pull tweets though. Even entering a single letter into the settings gives an error. I’m out of ideas.

    Where should I check?

    Can you tell me what the error is and where you’re seeing it?

    I use Generate Press and it’s the area where I add widgets. As soon as I put even a single letter in the configuration I get “an error has occurred. Please reload and try again.”

    Totally repeatable.

    I did add “custom Twitter feeds”, which works fine, so it is not critical. Never like to add additional plugins unless totally necessary.

    Does Generate Press use something other than the standard WordPress interface for adding widgets?
