Widget to display graphic images on sidebar?

I’m currently in the process of switching from a typepad blog to wordpress and have been looking for something like this too. Anyone know if there’s a solution that works better (aka easier) than the text widget? It seems like there are an abundance of questions in the forum on how to post images in the sidebar, with or without links, some of them answered, some of them not, but nothing that I’ve found with a solution other than using html.

If you know or can learn some html, simply use the text widget. Insert the image, link and any other text using html within the widget configuration.

Thanks Christy. I know the code to add images through html. It’s just not something that comes naturally to me yet and I’d also love to help others get a wordpress blog set up as an alternative to typepad or other blog softwares out there but some of my clients aren’t comfortable at all with html so if there were a widget to add images I would think it would be quite a popular item. Just wondered if maybe I’m missing one somewhere or if anyone’s considered designing one. I’m certainly not capable but I’d be very grateful. ??
