Widget that creates an RSS feed?

I’m putting together a site using WordPress as a CMS and we’d like to have a small “Announcements” text widget that lists dates and events. We’d then like to have an rss feed that viewers can add to their reader or email address so they can keep up with any new announcements we put in the widget.

Any suggestions on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated.
