Widget text translation issue

Hi,
First of all thank you for this useful plugin!
I just have an issue. My website is available in 2 languages, English and French. Your plugin used to work great for translating strings, but now in footer widgets, it only translates the widget titles but not the widget text, which is displayed in the original language.
Any idea why? All plugins and the theme are up to date.
