    CSS conflicts and oops-we-didn’t-think-of-that’s are common when theme and plugin stylesheets don’t apply enough specificity.

    Did the fix from your other post about the Web Savvy Marketing theme work here too?

    If not, and if you post a link to the page in question, I would be happy to find the problem.

    I think I am having the exact same problem as the original poster. I am also using the Genesis theme and would really appreciate some guidance with the sidebar width. If you look down my right column, you’ll see that the text is being cut off. I definitely think it’s a theme issue.

    Here’s a link: Weight Lifting Complete

    I’ve used this widget before in a previous theme and it worked perfectly. If I remember correctly, that was a Genesis based theme also. But I know it’s probably this particular theme causing the issue.

    You all have helped me before, and I want to say thank you and appreciate the support very much. Merry Christmas!

    Try this in your theme’s stylesheet:

    .testimonial-widget .content {
      width: 100%;
    }

    Again Chris, thanks very much. Works perfectly now. You’re always so helpful. Hope you had a great Christmas and wish you a very happy New Year. I might contact you about optimizing site speed as I did a search for you and see that is one of your specialties. I think my site needs a little work in that area. I’ve tried some on my own but not one of my things. Again, appreciate your help very much.

    You’re very welcome Josh. I’m glad we got it working. And Happy New Year to you!

    Yes, site speed is an obsession of mine. I would be glad to help.

    I put this code in every style sheet I could find and it’s not working for my site https://www.fishingreviews.tv. I ended up removing the sidebar and making it a full page to make it look somewhat normal.

    Your theme just has a different structure. I’d be glad to help if you will publish a page with a sidebar so I can see the CSS.
