Widget Support- HTTP vs HTTPS

    I have a pre-configured widget that works with http not https.
    If i open the site with https://xxxx.com, the calendar does not display, if i open the site with https://xxxx.com, the widget works properly and the event calendar displays.
    We are embedding the widget in Squarespace.
