• Since a couple of weeks I’m having problems with the widget not displaying on my site when using Chrome on desktop. It displays without problems in other browsers such as Firefox, Microsoft Edge etc and also in Chrome on my Android phone.

Not sure if this might be something that has to do with my WordPress template (MH Magazine) or something else. It was working fine on the same template up to one point when I was refreshing the page and the widget stopped displaying on the site all of a sudden.

If anyone has any tip as to what might be wrong it would be highly appreciated.

  • Hi hyperbrainme,

the theme doesn’t prevent widgets from appearing on your site. This either is plugin related or it’s just a caching issue. Have you already tried clearing the cache of your browser (and/or caching plugin – if installed) and then reloaded the site in your browser?

    Hi MH Themes.

No I know it’s not due to the theme. It was working just fine up until a certain point and the issue only appears in Chrome on desktop. In Chrome on my Android I have no issues.

I tried clearing the cache in my browser but it didn’t change anything unfortunately. I’ll try to have a look with other Chrome users to see if they have the same problem or if it’s something local on my machine only.

If anyone here reading this would be willing to take a look, the site is https://hyperbrain.me

The Pinterest widget is put to show in the right column on both the front page and the article pages.

Your Pinterest widget is displaying fine here in Chrome (Version 46.0.2490.80 64-bit), so it seems this is related to your local environment. Could be due to some settings in your browser, for example privacy settings.

Thanks for letting me know. ??
I’ll try to go over my local settings then to see if I can figure out what’s going on here on my side.

Taking the chance to say thanks to you guys at MH Themes too. I’m really happy with the theme and what I’m able to do with it!

You’re welcome and we’re very happy that you like the theme and the flexibility which MH Magazine provides. Your site really looks awesome with the theme and if you want, you can send us a nice testimonial and we’ll add your site to our showcase. ??

I will definitely take the time to do that. ??
