    Hey Bento team,

Me again (sorry…). I’m now having trouble with my footer/bottom footer/copyright sections. Indeed, I’d like to add social buttons in the bottom area of my sight, on the same line where y copyright is.
So I went to Apparence/Customize/Widgets/Footer and I added the Social buttons widget. Unfortunately it is displayed above the copyright area, I can’t have them vertically aligned. I managed to make it work with links as on your demo site, but not icons…
    Any idea ?

    Thanks!

    Hey Paul,

in WordPress, widgets can be added to widget areas, and menus – to menu areas; both are defined by the theme. Bento offers both a widget area and a menu area in the footer, the former being a full-width section on top of the copyright message block, and the latter being a placeholder in the left part of the copyright block. It’s not possible to add widgets to the menu area in WP, which implies that only a menu can be displayed in the copyright section in Bento.

Programmatically, this can be changed by customizing the theme’s footer.php template file.

    Sincerely,
    Andrii / Satori Studio

    Alright, understood !
I’ll stick to custom links then in the copyright section.

    Best,
    Paul

Oh one more thing, I finally kept those custom links and I’d like that clicking on them open a new tab. How can I do this ?

    Thx

EDIT: I found the solution sorry… here it is: https://richwp.com/open-wordpress-menu-links-in-new-window/
