“Widget Sidebar” options not showing

Hi there,

I’m not sure if this has been asked before. I tried searching but the results were completely unhelpful and they were all labelled ‘www.remarpro.com’.

I have downloaded and installed the widgets plugin to my plugins directory in WordPress and I can see the default delicious and Google search widgets in my plugins page but there is no “Sidebar Widgets” option in ‘Presentation’. I have activated the plugins, and gone back and they’re not there.

I’ve also downloaded several widget compliant themes, asome more widgets, but nothing seems to work.

I have a standard WP installation with no code customisations. I’ve followed the instructions to the letter, smiled at the Kubrick ‘joke’ and watched dozens of widgets get released, but I simply can’t get mine to work.

Does anyone know what may be the problem?

I’d be very grateful if someone could provide me with an answer.
