Widget sidebar and main content not level under content boxes

Here is my site: dlwoodonline.com. On Home page, there is too much space between content boxes and main content beneath. As you can see, the main content is not level with the widget sidebar to its right. How do I eliminate the white space and make the main content level with the sidebar? Also, how do I get the main content title to show up? There is just a black bar – and I don’t know where that came from either.
