I have the widget on the right side showing upcoming webinars. The first and third webinar listed have the correct dates, but the 2nd (middle) one is off by a day. I have tried to ensure the timezones are set the same – as far as I can tell my GoToWebinar is set to EST (GMT-5) and my Site is set to New York timezone. Is there another place to set the actual plugin timezone or does it have the same as the WordPress site? I’m hoping there is another place to set the plugin timezone, but I cannot find it.

    Many thanks!

    Hi @don_bosco,

The times are taken from the GoToWebinar webinar, so I would double check whatever is on GoToWebinar and then clear the webinar cache. Thank you,

    Thanks for your reply.

I went into GoToWebinar to check the timezone and it’s set to Easter (see screen shot). Although it’s set to East, it comes up as “EDT” in the GTW Dashboard (see screen shot). Apparently, this stands for “Easter Daylight Time” and is the timzone for New York.

Can the plugin handle this timezone? I’m wondering if this is where the shift is happening with my date.

    Hi @don_bosco,

The plugin just pulls in information from GoToWebinar, whatever it is in GoToWebinar, there should be no issues handling different timezones. Also make sure your WordPress timezone is set to the right area. Thanks,

I double-checked and everything is set correctly but it is still not displaying the correct time/date in the sidebar widget.

    Any other possible fixes?

    Thanks!

    Hi @don_bosco,

I am not sure, I haven’t had other people report the issue. All I can advise is if you purchase the pro version I can provide more extensive support and diagnose and resolve the issue on your actual site. At the moment it’s not something I can repeat on my end.

    Thanks,

What’s interesting is that I have the shortcode on another page and it displays correctly. However, the sidebar widget is where there is an issue with the date/time.

    Hi @don_bosco,

Thanks for that information, that was helpful. I think I might have identified the issue that you may be facing although I can’t say for certain. I have released an update just then to hopefully resolve this. Thanks,

Looks like that did the trick! Thank you for the update. Always great to have a plugin with really good support.

    Cheers!

Sorry, but I have one more question. In the widget the dates now are correct, but there is an empty box after the “Register” link, which should be an arrow to the right “->”. I pulled up the page source and have the screenshot here. Any idea what could be going on here?

    Thanks again!

    Hi @don_bosco,

Good to hear. From version 14.2 we are now using the latest version of Font Awesome. The squares you are seeing normally means you have a version of Font Awesome that is less than 5 being output by a theme or plugin. I would look at seeing if you can update this other version of Font Awesome to the latest version. Also another possibilities is you need to clear your server, site and browser cache.

If you need additional assistance diagnosing the Font Awesome conflict on your environment I can provide extended premium support for this.

Thanks. I installed a Font Awesome 5 plugin and that did the trick. It looks like the theme I am using hasn’t been updated to include version 5.

    Thanks again for your help!

    Hi @dmgirar,

Have you made sure your WordPress site time is the same as what’s set in your GoToWebinar account? WordPress site time can be set from your main admin menu: Settings > General.

    Thanks,
