widget question, posted by a novice…

  • This is likely a very simple question… but when I add a widget to my homepage, it always shows up on all my inner blog pages as well. Is there a way to fix this? And is there a way to add a widget to just ONE inner page, and not all.
    Sorry for the stupid question!

  • Yes – it’s possible but you would need to set up different sidebars (or widget-capable areas) and then edit your theme’s template files to load specific sidebars. As it is now, all pages on your site use a single, generic, sidebar.
