Widget Problems with 4.0

Thanks for releasing 4.0, however after upgrading I’ve lost the widget on the sidebar of the homepage.
I tried to set up the widget again with the Customizer, however, the design has changed and also German localization is no longer there. And a custom filter of mine for the_content is shown before the text:
add_filter('the_content', 'xxxxxx');
I am missing a consent button for our privacy policies, that was shown and has to be checked before subscribing.

Is it possible to you can contact me directly, so I can send you pictures of before/after and we don’t have to further talk in public?
