Widget page of the Dashboard is not responding

  • So I installed some new plug ins onto my company’s wordpress site and activated them successfully. But when I went onto the widget page, I tried to drag them onto the sidebar area but they won’t move. Instead, the page is highlighting them. Even the Help bar and the Screen options will not respond. They respond on the other pages just not the widget page. I’m not sure what is going on.

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fourteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
