Widget page locks up

Fyi, I just sent in a ticket to the developers and got this reply from them:

Thank you so much for letting us know. We really appreciate it. We are currently doing the plug in’s update to address its compatibility issue to WP 5.1x and also other issues.

My apology for late response, just got married this March and got really busy. I’m working on the updates for the plugin and would really want your help. Can anyone send screenshot of the error or php logs? Seems to be working fine on my tests with the latest WordPress version. Thanks!

Same problem here on all the 25 wordpress I manage. Hope this can be solved because I really like this plugin and I would need to do a lot of work if I have to go to another plugin with the same functions.

The issue happens on both a website with PHP 5.6 (wordpress 5.1), and on a website with PHP 7.1 (wordpress 4.9). I know it also happens on other websites managed by my company, however due to the large amount of websites we manage I am unsure as to which websites those are. If you really need more information I can do some digging, but for now I hope this is enough.

Here I use the latest version of WordPress on all sites. PHP is 7.2 or higher on all sites. Later I will make a support ticket.

I wanted to add a ticket but I do not have a licence because I use the free version. But I want to help solve this problem so please mail me at [email protected] whith the stuff you need. You can also get access to one of the sites where it happens.

Similar issue here as well. The widgets page does not lock up but it is very very slow about a 10 second delay between clicks. I am running WP 5.1.1 and PHP 7.1. Thanks.

Also, a similar issue. The widgets page has been freezing or running slow on all of my websites that use this plugin. I’m having to disable the plugin, then make widget updates, then re-enable the plugin.

My sites are using various themes and the current version of WordPress. PHP versions on these sites include: 7.0.33, 7.1, 7.2.17, 7.3.

On the sites running 7.3, the widgets don’t seem to freeze for as long as the sites running lower versions of PHP.

I just tried it, but there doesn’t seem to be any difference. The last update you seem to have done to that branch is 16 days old, are you sure you linked the correct version, or pushed a new version?
