Widget not available on home page

  • Hi,

    When i go to Customise and widgets (I have already Choose A startpage)
    Then I only can choose Sidebar or Footer – Not Homepage –
    Each youtube videos shaw home page choice on widgets
    – what am i missing? So when i choose Astrid FP: Services or any one else – the firstpage will stay white… I can see the header and footer but then its al white

    Please help.

    1. Please make sure that you have selected Widgetized page template for your home page.

    2. Please make sure that Customize preview area on the right side shows the page that you want to edit.

    Helle Roman,

    I cannot have a widgetized home page. My home page is static.
    I would like to send you some print screen but it is not possible.
    Even if I change the home page and I put not static, when I come back to the widget the home page is still missing.
    I have tried to change the theme and to put it again but it is still not working.

    I only have side bar and footer in the widget area.

    Hi Roman,

    Yes, I did.
    This is a nightmare, I tried and tried, I set up 3 times the theme, tried with the xlm file again and I still have no home page appearing in the widget zone.
    I will take another theme as I already lost to much time.
