• I am messing around with a site – https://dominic.villaclarissa.com/wordpress/

At the moment, I’ve set the landing page to the about us page. However, for some reason, the contact form widget isn’t appearing on the front page. Is there any way to sort this out? When I change the landing page to another one, it automatically gets rid of the widget.

  • Is there something in your theme about alternate front page widgets?

In my theme, you have the option to display different widgets on the front page than on the rest of the pages. Maybe yours has this too??

Maybe, I’ll have a little look.

I can’t find one. Using the Dream Home theme and I don’t think I can find anything.

I can, however, add the contact form div in Firebug and it comes up, but I don’t know where to go to add this to the code in the site.

Gotcha. You’re missing a div tag on that page somewhere. Did you modify any core theme files?

No, it’s my Dad who’s working on it. He hasn’t modified anything to my knowledge – I’ll ask him. Do you have any idea where I should put the div file?

Another thing. If you look at the internal pages, the contact form is out of position. Any way I can sort this out? It’s a plugin so I would have thought it wouldn’t be like that.

Send me a message on my contact form here. I’ll need to get into your admin panel and see what’s going on.

    Looking now…

    Done.
