Widget Logic and WP_Widget class widgets. Problem?

Is there a general problem with Widget Logic and widgets written in the ‘extends WP_Widget’ form? I wrote WL a loong time ago before this form of widget plugin writing was added to WP.

If someone can confirm (and point me in the right direction) I am very willing to update the code to cope with this as otherwise I’ll be holding a lot of people back.
