Widget is Crashing Customize Option

  • I am running 4.2.2 and the plugin says that it is compatible with my version of WordPress; however, I downloaded the plugin, activated it, modified it per the preset options in the widget menu, it looked great– even linked it with my Feedburner and it was working fine.

    The problem was I could not open my customizer under the “Appearance” option in the left sidebar in in WordPress admin page. The customizer only began working again when I deactivated this plugin. I tried removing other plugins, but this was the only one that gave me an issue. I am using the Highwinds theme and my URL is WhatAilsUs.com

    Has anyone else had this problem, and/or know how to resolve it? I really like the look and feel of the plugin, and I hate to ditch it and find another one… can’t even find another that looks as good as this one.

    I had the same issue some time ago, but NOT with Simple Subscribe. The problem was a redirection plugin that had old redirections. Removing those solved my problem and ‘Appearance’ gave back the screen.
    Not sure if it can help.
