i) There’s no heading (there seems to be something about that in the ‘Parameters’ section, but I didn’t understand what I was supposed to do).
Since you’re using the widget, simply go to Widgets and set a title in the WPP widget.
ii) Some posts don’t have a heading (they’re just pictures)- and it just shows a blank space for those posts.
Known problem. I’ve been aware of it for some time. To be honest, I’m not sure what WPP is supossed to show when a post has no title:
- Displaying “No title” as title is a no go, what if none of the post have titles? The visitor would get confused seeing that all of the posts are called “No title“.
- Detecting if the titleless post has an image and use it as a thumbnail could be an option, but it’d be weird if none of the other posts have thumbnails (in the case that thumbnails are disabled). People might find it odd that they never enabled thumbnails and see that one of the posts is displaying it, which might not be what they want.
Since none of these options are a suitable solution for everyone, the only thing I can suggest is set a title for that post. If you happen to have a better idea, please share it.
