    Hello,

I’m really happy with the way “Fetch Tweet” looks on a post or page. This is the first plugin I’ve tried, that displays the Twitter feed this beautifully. However, I do not seem to be able to get the widget to run in my sidebar. Neither profile image nor pictures posted to Twitter show up, instead there’s a scroll bar displayed even though number of tweets is set to “3” and widget length to “0”.

This is my blog page. The theme I use is Theron Pro 2.

Any suggestion what I might be doing wrong would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Tracey,

I see the profile images and the pictures in the sidebar widget.

To get rid of the scroll bar, set the height to 100%.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. ?? Whiplash-fast!

Hm, just checked. You’re right. I can see the sidebar widget in full glory (images, profile image, no scroll bar) on my mobile, tablet, and in Opera. Doesn’t work in Sleipnir or Chrome though. So, this looks like a problem related to the (or rather my) browser(s).

Thanks for the nudge in the right direction!

    Hi,

I’ve checked your site in Chrome. I could see the images of tweets and the avatars. However, I noticed that an element of the widget titled “Seeing the world…” was overlapping the Fetch Tweets’s widget.

See what happens if you move the Fetch Tweets widget above the widget of “Seeing the world…”. If the images appear by doing so, it means it is not the problem of the plugin.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi,

    ??

I followed your recommendation. Alas, the problem persists. I tried different browsers (on a variety of platforms) and by now I’m quite sure it has something to do with the responsive aspect of the theme. So, my next victim? The theme designer. ??

Thank you so much for your input.
You’ve been really great about this!

Sorry to hear that the problem still persists. You are welcome and thanks for the review by the way! Don’t worry, I don’t feel like a victim at all, haha. I hope your theme developer can find a solution. Good luck.
