widget image not showing

  • Tried every way I can but image for text widget will not show.
    img src=”” info is correct as best I can tell:

    <a href="https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.hop.clickbank.net/"><img src="https://XXXXXXXXXX.com/images/diabetes/reversediabetes.jpg" alt="A Cure For Diabetes?"/></a>

    The clickbank link works just fine, but… no image!
    Looking at the recent posts it seems this is a more general problem.

    Using cpanel, tried: <a href="https://xxxxxxxxxxx.hop.clickbank.net/"><img src="https://XXXXX.com/public_html/images/diabetes/reversediabetes.jpg" alt="A Cure For Diabetes?"/></a>
    – still no joy.
    Image is located on cpanel at /public_html/images/diabetes/reversediabetes.jpg

    Hope there is someone out there with the knowledge to solve for me – thank you!

    Well, the fix was kinder-easy. Just had to get the right mindset.
    Removed the public_html reference. Removed all references in the blog, made sure the lot was clean, re-wrote the link.
    Hands on seat, sit down, done.
