    Greetings,

The menu on my wordpress site is completely full. Just wondering if there is some kind of widget which could be placed on my site’s homepage to encourage users to create a profile/become a member. Does this plugin come with a widget?

The website (EverythingAutism.org) has one tentative goal of allowing kids and teens with intellectual disabilities to connect and make friends. They will have to be registered by a parent. Once registered, autistic kids can find other kids based on similar age and interests (Minecraft, COD, etc.) for online gaming or chat. Does your plugin also secure content? Can registered users search profiles or is that only for backend administrators? The security aspect may be too difficult to achieve–might just use your plugin for general membership. I’m not a developer, just want something easy that looks good–not taking payment for membership. Do you have a working version anywhere I can demo?

    Thank you,

    Emily

    Hi,

Yes, by default Profile Builder comes with a Login widget.
Also, you can place links in a text widget to pages like Register, Edit Profile, Recover Password etc that contain plugin shortcodes. They don’t necessarily have to be in the menu.

The User Listing module from Pro allows you to create a member listing + single member profile page where registered users can search and browse other members profiles. We don’t have a plugin demo yet, but you can browse detailed screenshots on the plugins landing page.

For restricting content have a look at Members plugin. It has been tested and is fully compatible with Profile Builder.
