    I’d recommend to ask the author of Footer Putter what exact filters you can use to filter the output of their plugin.

    In Footer Putter v1.14 I have added a filter that operates on the email address in the footer called footer_putter_contact_email

    To encode your email address links, please use

    add_filter( 'footer_putter_contact_email', 'eae_encode_emails' );
