Widget Footer area / restructure

  • Hey,

    I am afraid I just messed up with my footer widget area. After getting rid of the sidebars I changed the Footer Sections (1-4). I wanted to adjust them in order to place the address and contact details in the section “Footer 1” on the very left. It was initially placed in “Footer 4” at the right side of the Footer area.

    Now it looks messed up without any order and different spacing between the different Footer columns. How am I supposed to resolve this issue?

    I checked your site and footer is appearing fine. To reorder the settings –

    1. Go to Customize > Footer Widget section and select 4 column
    2. Go to Appearance > Widget and remove all the widgets from the footer area
    3. Add widgets again as per your need to the footer widget area

    Hello,

    I removed all widgets from the widget footer area. But I am not able to add any new widgets now!!
    The footer stays black even though I completely changed the widgets in Dashboard/Backend.

    I checked your site and footer widgets are there. Where from you are trying to add the widget, from the Appearance > Widgets or customizer section?

    I deleted the widgets via Customizer. Afterwards I tried to add them to the footer again through Appearance > Widgets. I set them up again and usually they appear automatically in the widget footer area. But they didn’t when I tried.

    I also wasn’t able to add widgets from customizer..

    The reason you are able to see all the widgets is due to I didn’t publish my amendments. Therefore, everything is the same…

    Try to add the widgets and view on live site. Try to disable all the plugin except for the ocean extra and check it works properly or not.
