• Hello!
I was working on a client’s site today, updating the food menu. I was going to update a footer widget where I have a link to the current menu, but when I clicked on Widgets, I got this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method _WP_Editors::enqueue_default_editor() in /home/kbingham/public_html/snugharborbarandgrill.com/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 3090

    The site is at https://www.SnugHarborBarAndGrill.com

Please help me if you can and also please let me know if you need any more info.

    Thanks,
    Kathy ??

UPDATE: Now when I click on Widget I get this message:

Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 1 passed to Ai1ec_Exception_Handler::handle_exception() must be an instance of Exception, instance of Error given in /home/kbingham/public_html/snugharborbarandgrill.com/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/lib/exception/handler.php:191 Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: Ai1ec_Exception_Handler->handle_exception(Object(Error)) #1 {main} thrown in /home/kbingham/public_html/snugharborbarandgrill.com/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/lib/exception/handler.php on line 191

I have the same problem, after the latest update I am getting:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method _WP_Editors::enqueue_default_editor() in /web/htdocs/www.santannapontinia.it/home/parrocchia/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 3090

When I try to open the widget page from the dashboard

After updating WordPress to 4.8, I receive the same error when trying to use the Customize link on the admin bar.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method _WP_Editors::enqueue_default_editor() in /wp-includes/general-template.php on line 3090

    FIXED !!!!
I use the plugin CKEditor to write my posts.
I’ve disabled that plugin and …. no critical errors anymore!

    Hope this helps
