    I really like this plugin – very simple, does exactly what I want. EXCEPT…there’s an HTML validation problem.

    The line that’s causing the widget to not pass validation is as follows:

    <img src="https://mysite.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/image1.jpg" data-image-link="https://mysite.org/faq/" class="pointer_cursor" />

    The validator says this: “An img element must have an alt attribute, except under certain conditions. For details, consult guidance on providing text alternatives for images.”

    I have specified alternative text in the media library for each of the 3 images I put into the rotator, but the plugin is not coded to include alt text.

    Validation is an important component of my websites. Please help, thanks!
