• I’ve been using this plugin for some time, but I’ve never been able to get the widget functionality working to have each event link directly to their respective event page. If I leave the URL field blank for the widget blank, and boxes unchecked, the events on the widget are just text/non-links. I’ve setup an alternative and link the widget events to the category page, but this is not ideal.

Is there a trick to getting this functioning?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You need to create a new page with the [event-list] shortcode in the description. Then you have to insert the url to this site in the widget URL field.

At the moment there is no permalink supported for direct links to the widget without a page. But this will change soon.

I’m having a similar issue. I have an event list in the footer of my home page
    [event-list num_events=6? show_content=false link_to_event=events_with_content_only show_filterbar=false url_to_page=https://xxx/events]

And then on page https://xxx/events, I have:
    [event-list show_content=true link_to_event=events_with_content_only show_filterbar=true url_to_page=https://xxx/events]

The links are generated on the home page, pointing to, e.g.
    https://xxx/events/?event_id1=1076

But the event displayed is the entire list, not a single event.
    What am I doing wrong?
