Widget Dragging is not working

  • I installed my version of wordpress and in the admin panel I tried to drag some widgets to the sidebar. But dragging is not working. I can’t select a widget to drag.

    I also noticed that some other things in the admin panel is not working like for example if i click edit button in visibility mode of a post.

    Any hints how to solve that problem?

  • Check if you have javascript enabled in your browser, test with other browsers too

    I checked that and I tested it with IE, FF, Opera and even RockMelt.

    This might be a simple thing, but it has fixed several weird functional things for me.

    Restart your machine. My older machine seems to need a little fresh start occasionally (two or three times in a tough work day.) If several things are happening, that’s even more reason to suspect the memory. Maybe it won’t help.
