Widget doesn’t show in Pages

    Hello,
    This works fine for Posts but doesn’t show widgets on Pages even though I checked “Enable Pages Logic and ［Show］ on selected Pages:” in the control area.

    I use the theme from Genesis Framework （Theme name: News Pro） and WordPress version 5.0.2.

    Please help.

  • I’m not familiar with the Genesis Framework, but is it possible that what you or they are calling a page is not an actual “page” ?

    I can look into this is you supply:

    a) a screenshot of the widget settings
    b) a link to a page you expect the widget to appear on but it’s not

    Thanks a lot for your prompt help.

    I realized I put the widget to a widget area that only available in single entries in the first place. I thought “single entries” include pages as well but it’s not.
    The theme　I use doesn’t have the widget area for any pages, so I’m going to find another way for specific contents to be conditionally shown on pages.
