Widget does not display anymore

I’ve regenerated the Twitter tokens to test, but the widget is still not displayed.

I’ve just taken a look and when I look at the widget, it’s still displaying, but not rotating. A couple of JavaScripts are showing Uncaught TypeError $(...).xxx is not a function errors in the console [F12] – including Rotating Tweets.

Have you changed anything else on the site recently? It could be a clash with another plugin, or an error in another plugin. The other scripts showing an error are in the theme and in Ajax Event Calendar.

PS: A temporary solution might be to switch to version 2 of the JavaScript on the settings page.

Normally the ‘is not a function’ problem happens when jQuery or the jQuery.cycle script is overwritten somehow, but this isn’t obviously happening in this case.

It’s in the source code, but won’t display. I’ve set it to V2 JavaScript, but that didn’t change anything.

That’s what I find in the source, but nothing of that is displayed. Neither still or rotating.

Not sure what you’ve done, but it’s working fine now on my browser.

It’s still working, so I’ll mark this as resolved.

It would be great to know what you did to fix it!

What I did was this:

• Resetting Consumer Key/Secret
• Resetting API Key/Secret
• Saving Widget in Design\Widgets (although it was already in there)

Afterwards it worked again. Maybe saving would have been enough, dunno.

That’s interesting. Do you use a caching plug-in? That might have had that effect.
