    Hello,

I am finding it hard difficult to organize the widget just like it looks like on the demo page. I have successfully created a static front. I understand how the custom post works but what i want to achieve is to first add a two post with image side by side just like the one on the demo. But i am having difficulties.
Then after that, i can add the custom post widget

    Please, assist…

  • Hi Ngajugodwin,

thanks for using MH Magazine lite.

If you want to place the widgets as shown in the demo of the free theme, you could place them for example like this:

    • Home 2: MH Slider [lite] or MH Posts Large [lite] widget
    • Home 3: 2 x MH Custom Posts [lite] widgets
    • Home 4: 2 x MH Custom Posts [lite] widgets
    • Home 6: MH Custom Posts [lite] widget
    • Home 6: MH Tabbed [lite] widget

This information is also stated on the theme information page.

I have done that but i noticed that the custom post[lite] does not come side by side. It came below each other.

I want it to come side by side.

And also, the custom post[lite] does not contain contents on it just like the post focus.

Sorry, we don’t know what you mean with this. You can see how it’s supposed to look like in the theme demo.

If you feel that it’s displaying different for you after you’ve placed widgets correctly, then please provide your URL so that we can see what you mean. For other people it’s displaying fine after they’ve followed the instructions correctly, so apparently there is something wrong on your end.

I think i just fixed it now. I noticed i was not placing the widget in the right positions.

    Thanks once again.
