Widget content translation in custom strings

  • Hello,

    When I add new text widget to widget area and save, its name appears in “custom strings” for translation. But “content” field of the widget does not. Is there a way you can add functionality like this?

    I know I can make separate widgets and assign language to every of them, but that complicates whole process since you need to copy/paste all widget content several times.

    Also, if Polylang could “record” widget content, maybe widgets of other plugins could be translated this way?

    When you add cocntact widget to your site, you can translate widget name “Contact” to other languages with string translation. But, you cannot translate field “country” within the widget. Is something like this possible?
