Widget clears sidebar content

  • For some reason whenever I add a widget it clears the other links and content that I put in the sidebar. How can I fix this?

    There is nothing to fix. You need to understand how widgets work: exactly as you described.

    If you drag even ONE single widget into the sidebar – that will override anything coded manually in the sidebar. You need to put EVERYTHING in widgets, if you want to use them.
