    Hi,

This is a great looking theme.

However, I’ve got an issue where the “Call to action” and a contact form are stuck on my page.

Previously, I could fix this by adding text widgets (Going Appearence>Customize) then on the pop-out menu on the left I could add a widget.

Now there are no widgets to choose from.

    What has happened here? Thanks

Thanks for the kind words. As you say, you should be able to just add any widget to the Page Bottom and/or Footer widget areas and the sample ones will disappear.

If there are no widgets to choose from in WordPress itself, that has to be some other issue. You might try previewing or switching to another theme to determine that is the case. Then start disabling plugins until you find the one that is causing problems.

If you create a child theme, you could also copy and edit the sidebar-pagebottom.php and/or sidebar-footer.php files to remove the samples… but that won’t fix any issues with widgets on your site.

Hi, ycon. I’m going to close this out as resolved since the widget problem you are having is caused by something else not the theme. If you’d like to open it back up, let me know.
