widget bug

  • dear community,
    after trying a few plugins for customizing and translating text in the “search” widget, such as “Enhanced Text”, “Custom Fields Search by BestWebSoft”, “Custom Sidebars” , some random widgets appear in the sidebar (Meta and Archives boxes, as well as a search box in English). My coding was affected by the plugin bug in a way I can’t fix the problem either by deactivating the plugin or just cancelling the widgets through my dashboard. Is there a way to fix the problem directly on the code or is there a plugin able to debug this? My intention is not to eliminate totally the sidebar, as, as soon as manage to fix the bug, I’ll need to edit the text of the search box/placeholder and also the text contents in the result and no result pages.

  • There will be some widget added to the sidebar through sidebar.php file.
    Please check the code inside it.
    you can just comment out the code.

    Thanks, dnyanraja, i could solve it after adding search boxes again. Now my task is to edit the text in the result and no result pages. I see that the version in German still keeps text in English. Guess it’s better to create a new topic for this, but please let me know if you could help and thank you very much again : )
