widget area clashing with content

  • Hi

    I am having an issue with the widget area / sidebar, which is coming inside the content area in some ocasions (tables in the content area).

    My knowledge of CSS is very limited, therefore I come up to you guys ??

  • Hi there – could you provide a couple of things for easier troubleshooting:

    – a link to the specific page where this is an issue
    – a test user account (with the least privileges possible) so I can log in and take a look at what’s going on?

    The issue is also apparent without being logged in. I’m notifying our developers so they can have a look.

    Meanwhile I’ve tested other tables (tablepress, shortcodes ultimate and another one) and all of them result on the same problem.

    My theory is that, because of the first column being the longest of all, the other columns were corrupting the sidebar once the user selected them.

    I managed to “repair” it, by forcing the first tab to be a shorter one. In this way, there is no clash for some reason… (I guess the theme’s css set the content area to be limited enough for all the tables’ columns).

    I’ve left a page with the issue, so that your developers can nonetheless check it. The url has changed to https://www.tippundspiel.com/?page_id=550
