widget appearance (logic) option button gone

    hi tom,
    happy new year! i’m still loving my GP theme altho having a problem.

    is it me, or has the widget appearance option button disappeared/been removed?

    i liked the feature of being able determine appearance logic of which pages i wanted my widgets to show on (using a GUI) and am hoping it’s not a bug on my site that has caused its removal.

    i did google and search support threads but didn’t see anything helpful. apologies if i missed something.

    Hi there,

    That isn’t a built-in option in the theme.

    Perhaps you were using this plugin before?

    thanks for the quick reply <3

    interesting that i had the optional functionality previously, having never used any plugins.

    i’ll work on the conditional logic myself and circle back if there are any problems (which i always try resolving myself before posting in forums—-though not always w success :\ ).

    good morning Leo,
    lo and behold!
    it was Jetpack all along… i assumed it was GP functionality and when i temp disabled Jetpack… sidebars went kaput!
    reactivating made all well again.
    you helped a lot…
