    I need to add some legal links to my site in a visible place – the names of the links are quite long and they best fit inside a widget in the footer. Your footer does not allow widgets. The contact area would be the next best thing but the contact area does not allow the widget instead of Contact 7 (not everybody uses Contact 7 if they don’t want to put 7 there, it is oddly blank. – wish that was an option.

    Can you help? It would be nice not to lose the code though at the next update.

    Hello @zanmo231

    You can add whatever text you desire by editing the footer.php file. It does not allow widgets but you can place the link code directly inside the file.
