Wider perio for stat

  • I really like the plugin, but i need bigger period of time for the stats. Let make it custom, but if it’s not possible, can you add after the 30 day period, a 6 month a one years. Stats over 20 day are fine, stats over a years is the thing that talk to people. We live a a years period, summer winter january december… so please add a year statistic ASAP or tell me where to code it (wich file) i will do it…

    Hi mam,

    wider periods are currently not supported because WP-Piwik should contain a caching method first. Otherwise it won’t work comfortable. Caching is planned, but currently I can’t tell you a release date.

    WP-Piwik is intended as a lightweight “fast stats look” plugin. If you like to get widespread information, you should use Piwik’s dashboard itself, because it always will be more powerful than WP-Piwik inherently.

    If you like to change the period yourself, you should look after “last30” in the WP-Piwik source files (wp-piwik.php, dashboard/*.php) and change it to your preferred period accordant the Piwik API.
