• I would like to widen the content area of my site
    petergostelow.com
The text runs over the main blogging content page. I have widened my header image, which is why the rest of the page has followed suit I think.
Am not sure what to exactly change in CSS style so that the central division line is further to the right. Any help?

    Here is the CSS page:

    *
    Theme Name: Natural Essence
    Theme URI: https://templates.arcsin.se/
    Version: 1.0
Description: Soft and natural two-column theme supporting widgets. Based on the free website template Natural Essence. Also available as Joomla template.
    Author: Viktor Persson
    Author URI: https://arcsin.se/
    */

[Moderated: Too much code. Please consider placing the code in a text file on your site with a link here -or- use a pastebin service such as https://wordpress.pastebin.ca. Thanks!]

just so you know, the divider lines are an image:

look at this image to see where the div you are referring to already extends to:

OK, so I should just delete the divider line (main gif) in my FTP to see the line disappear on my site? I really want it to move to the right so that the text does not go over it, rather than to delete it. Thanks

if your problem is with the lines themselves than you need to edit the image.

if you dont want to see it, then yeah, you can remove it, or just the bits that call it in your stylesheet.

I have removed the gif file in my ftp and refreshed. Now at petergostelow.com the line is there, but disappears when I click the refresh button – the same is true for the other pages in navigation bar. Not sure I actually wanted to delete it, but rather have the divder to the left of where the side bar stuff comes in. Any suggestions? Thanks

any suggestions for what? you arent asking any additional questions.

the image isnt there when you refresh because the browser cache is catching up with whats on the server.

Sorry, thanks. It seems to be fine now. I would ideally like to have the divide line to the right of the main content text and trhe left of the sidebar. Do I have to recreate the gif file and re-code it somehow in CSS?
