I don’t know why Yoast keeps changing my websites canonical version. I fexed it with yoast tester tool but again it changed the canonical url. It sets the website public IP as the canonical version on all my pages.

    Hello @priyanka2144

Sorry about your canonical URLs; Yoast SEO doesn’t change or tamper with them. Did you recently move from a staging site? When you reset the indexables table and migrations with the Yoast Test Helper plugin, did you re-run the SEO data optimization analysis?

No, I have not moved from a staging site. My website had been perfectly running and Yoast was doing good but since last 2 months I am facing this problem.
Yes, I ran SEO data optimization analysis (that’s how it fixed the problem at that point of time but again the cannonical was changed after some days)

Same issue here, and I have no idea why it’s happening. I did run SEO Optimization just now, I’m hoping this doesn’t happen again. We have not moved the site since Feb. and everything was great until now. Anyone else notice this issue?

Hello @priyanka2144 Thanks for the feedback. Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

If you feel uncomfortable doing this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.
