Why would some get 404 errors and other not?

  • I’m using the newest WP install. Everything seems to be working fine. I can see everything on three computers here at home and my iphone with no wifi. Some people are saying they are getting 404 errors.

    site dhumc.com/site

    Can someone point me in the right direction to look? I’m lost…

    I have found that everyone that can not visit the site (besides 123milliseconds and one other) is trying to visit from our church server. I also found out they use the same domain for the internal network as they do for the site.

    I have had a lot of other people try it and I have not received any error reports. I have got to believe that has something to do with it. The only thing I can not figure out is from the church network why they can visit .com but not .com/site.

    I did have them turn off php safe mode as well, not sure if that will help but we will test over the next couple of days and turn back on as needed. I know it has helped the backend allowing me to upload pictures, etc.

    Thanks for all the help and any other input would be greatly taken.
