Why would I need a youtube plugin to display youtube videos in a post?

  • I don’t understand why I would use one of the Youtube plugins to display a youtube (or other service) video in a post. I’ve been simply embedding the embed code into the post and it works great–no plugin required. But I’m wondering if I’m missing something?

  • I agree 100% I use custom filedsfor them too, it’sjust too easy and i find no need for it… unless the plugin can add extra display options??
