Why won’t this code work? Static page issue.

    <?php include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php'); ?>

    The code works fine on my “normal” pages, (displays the featured content gallery) but the page I’ve assigned as my home page is clearing a spot for it – almost like the css is working – but the gallery isn’t showing up. Any suggestions?
