Why won't my site show up in search results

  • Hi, I have submitted my site/sitemap to google etc a while ago but it still can’t be found in search results.
    Any ideas on what is stopping this?

  • Sometimes it can take months to get indexed, but that is rare.

    Make sure under Settings you have it set to NOT block bots.

    You may want to run your site through this tool and select “Google Bot”

    It should return a “200 OK” code.

    Thank you. I ran it through and it returned “200 OK”
    I have never had a site take this long and I wonder whether its the homepage. Its a static image with a drop down for the menu. There isn’t any content on the page so perhaps nothing to optimise? Just a random guess. Do you think that could be causing it?
