  • Hi @reza465,

WooCommerce depends on the theme to provide widget areas. I noticed from the topic list that this mentioned Twenty Twenty although I don’t see a reference to it here on the topic.

The Twenty Twenty theme only provides space for widgets in the footer. The theme would have to be changed to use a sidebar for WooCommerce widgets. It’s up to the theme to add these and it’s not something that WooCommerce forces on theme developers.

If you need a theme with solid WooCommerce support and sidebars for widgets, the Storefront theme is available.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    hello Mr development

yes, In the theme footer twenty twenty

The question was raised in Theme Twenty Twenty
    But
    Referred to Woocommerce

Can the plugin solve the problem?
    Announce the plugin name
    Or
    Announce the code and path?
    Or
    Waiting for Woocommrse updates?
    Or
    Don’t choose theme twenty twenty?
So why invest so much time in producing a very weak theme.

    Thanks, Thanks for answer

    Hello there,

There are literally tens of thousands of WordPress themes out there. Each one has their own goals. The team that made Twenty Twenty had their own design ideas that did not involve including a sidebar. That’s a common design trend among many websites including some e-commerce ones too. Not all, but a good many.

In order to work with as many themes as possible, WooCommerce tries to fit inside the theme’s designated content areas. It doesn’t create new sidebars for example. It works with what is available.

If you find you really want to have a sidebar, you’ll want to either switch themes or hire a developer to create a child theme that adds a sidebar to Twenty Twenty.

The only theme that WooCommerce develops in hose is the Storefront theme. It can have a traditional sidebar for widgets. You might take a look at that and see if it will work for you.

    Hi Mr development

    Final question

Thank you for answering the following question based on your own experience
    Just, just a personal experience

Which theme to choose for better visibility on Google
    On the first pages

    Fully Premium StoreFront theme
    Or
Free and (semi-finished) template Twenty Twenty
    Or
The theme name you are suggesting
    shahsavarireza[AT]ymail.com

    Thanks, Thanks, Thanks

Personally, I like the Storefront theme. It’s also free so you don’t have to pay anything to use it.

There are some paid extensions out there for it, but they aren’t required at all.
