So, Yoast is not a bad SEO plugin, even though most of the functions my theme already performs, one thing about Yoast that i liked was the Open Graph for Facebook, twitter, & Google. So when and why if i’m not mistaken did Yoast remove OG for google? Is it a setting i’m missing somewhere?

Because, I can easily switch to a different SEO plugin and have this option. I hope Yoast didn’t move this feature to a paid version of the plugin.. no?

  • They did not remove those settings.

SEO > social > Facebook > enable open graph tags > toggle = ON

simply look at your page source to see OG tags are there when enabled.

If you can’t find the setting, likely good to switch to simpler SEO plugin.
