• I pay writers on my multi-writer site via their pageviews so naturally I loved that feature on this plugin and how it tracked and matched up directly to the Google Analytics numbers we were already using to report our numbers. I saw in an older thread that it was deprecated and you’re working on a new premium plugin to show that. But now unfortunately I’ve lot a weeks worth of data having barely noticed this today. How do you get the older version back so I can track that if that is indeed possible as other people have pointed out. I already have to do 9 days of tracking manually and would love to not have to do so for this entire month awaiting for that premium plugin. Or is there a way to do it in the Google Analytics website? This is frustrating on Google part to just rip this out from under people out of nowhere like that.

And for those looking to find the solution on Google Analytics themselves, they’re acting like the Custom Dimensions are so simple to implement when really they’re not. This plugin had the right idea in the simple fact that it was as easy as changing a few options in settings. Google ripped that out from under its users for a lengthier setup that can come with a handful of errors if implemented incorrectly. God speed Yoast on getting that Premium Plugin finished, I don’t care that it will no longer be free, I just don’t have the time to deal with setting it up and will gladly pay to have that convenience returned.
